Appearance
White crystalline powder.
Pharmacological action
Erythromycin is a macrolide antibiotic produced by Streptomyces erythreus. It inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to bacterial 50S ribosomal subunits; binding inhibits peptidyl transferase activity and interferes with translocation of amino acids during translation and assembly of proteins. Erythromycin may be bacteriostatic or bactericidal depending on the organism and drug concentration.
Indication
For the treatment diseases caused by Gram-positive bacteria and mycoplasma infections.
Dosage and Administration
Chicken: 2.5g mix with water 1L, lasting 3-5 days.
Side Effects After oral administration, animals are likely suffer from a dose-dependent gastrointestinal dysfunction.
Precaution
1.Laying hens in the laying period use this product are prohibited.
2.This product cannot be used with acid.
Withdrawal Period
chicken: 3 days
Storage
The product should be sealed and stored in cool and dry place.
